What are the Reviews like for CarMax Las Vegas?
Customers generally report having a good experience at the Las Vegas CarMax retailers. The car buying experience depends largely on who the car salesman is. Those who are fortunate enough to work with a good sales associate will praise them and the customer service they received. Likewise, ending up with a rep who is only there to sell cars and is not helpful results in a poor review.

A common complaint that is made is in regard to the service department and their lack of welcoming customer service, as well as repeat repairs. Many CarMax customers have left warnings to future buyers to be sure to purchase the extended warranty to avoid paying out-of-pocket for hidden or unexpected repairs. Additionally, several customers specific to the West Sahara location did not have a good experience when it came to scheduling appointments and placing vehicles on hold. Buyers described showing up to the location and having to wait over an hour to be helped even with an appointment. Others detailed having specific vehicles held for their arrival, to later find out that the car they put on hold had been pulled from inventory and was no longer available.

As of January 2021, CarMax Las Vegas has an available inventory of 1,081 vehicles. Through some data analysis, we found that these retailers sell a wide range of makes, but the inventory is mostly Honda, Chevrolet, Toyota, Ford, Hyundai, Nissan and Audi vehicles. When it comes to the age and mileage of the cars, the majority of available vehicles are between model years 2017-2020 and have somewhere between 10,000 to 50,000 existing miles. Older vehicles with higher mileage, as well as newer vehicles with low mileage are also for sale at this location.
How Are Cars at CarMax Las Vegas Priced?
Based on the chart below, most vehicles available at CarMax Las Vegas range from $10,000 to $25,0000. More affordable vehicles you can expect to find are older, sedan style vehicles like a 2013 Volkswagen Jetta with 80,000 miles. More expensive vehicles are new (2018+) luxury models (e.g. Cadillac, Volvo, Audi, etc), reliable makes such as Honda and Toyota, as well as large SUVs and trucks.
