Customers have generally reported positively about their experience at the Chicago CarMax retailer(s). It’s expected that the car buying experience depends largely on who the car salesman is. Those who are fortunate to work with a good sales associate have praised them and the customer service they received. Likewise, poor reviews are left by those who worked with reps whose only goal was to sell cars without the buyer’s feelings and needs in mind.

Many customers expressed frustration regarding the service department. After purchasing vehicles from CarMax, customers reported having to come back not long after to deal with repairs. These buyers fault CarMax since they claim to conduct a 125+ point inspection on all vehicles.
