Beverly Hills Car Club

The Beverly Hills Car Club is the cream of the crop when it comes to dealerships. The dealership labels cars they sell as, “cars that are the very last word in tasteful elegance, chic and impressive sophistication, with scrupulous attention paid to each vehicle’s functional integrity and stylish perfection.”

This article will be addressing and answering the following:

This article will walk you through everything you need to know about the Beverly Hills Car Club, while also addressing the story behind the dealership and outlining what kinds of cars they buy and sell.

What is the Beverly Hills Car Club?

The Beverly Hills Car Club is one of the biggest European and American classic car dealerships in North America. It is the gem of L.A. car culture. A car guru has compared walking through the BHCC showroom floor to being a kid in a candy shop. It is located east of downtown Los Angeles near train tracks and is known as the place, “you can spend all day, but still feel like you need more time to see everything.” Alex Manos, the founder of BHCC, in an interview, said that the majority of his excitement is due to his constant hunt for vehicles. He says that his dealership never has the same cars two days in a row. He treats his regular customers like family and loves showing new customers what makes his BHCC so special!

What is the Story Behind the Beverly Hills Car Club?

The BHCC was not always every car guru’s automotive dream as it came from humble beginnings. Alex Manos opened the Beverly Hills Car Club in 2008 after he had bought, fixed up, and sold many vehicles of his own. He grew a passion for the automotive industry, while also realizing how profitable it was. The BHCC started in Manos’ garage as classic cars occupied two concrete parking spots. From this, the BHCC grew into occupying an office in Whittier and then a dealership on Firestone Boulevard where they would fill each spot and at one time had to park about 25 cars outside due to overflow.

What differentiated the BHCC from other car dealers is that Manos harnessed the power of the internet. He expanded his business online to attract car sellers and buyers around the nation and, from there, grew BHCC into the success it is now.

What Kinds of Cars do They Sell?

This dealership is very unique in the variety of cars they sell. They offer a wide range of brands from American to British to German to Italian and much more. They do not just sell fancy collectible cars, they also offer and buy project cars. You could walk into the BHCC spending anywhere from $1,000 on a project car to $1,000,000 on a luxury roadster. The BHCC has large warehouses filled with cars from Porsche, Jaguar, Alfa Romeo, BMW, Ferrari, Maserati, Rolls Royce, Delorean, Lamborghini, and many more. Other vehicles Alex Manos has sold at the BHCC include:

  • 1985 Porsche Carrera Targa

  • Porsche 356B cabriolet police car with black interior and exterior

  • 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwing
