Since the window sticker represents the original condition of the vehicle as it was when it left the factory, it will not provide a history of the vehicle reflecting the time since then. An example of this would be if aftermarket parts were installed from a previous owner or the original dealer. The vehicle would need to be inspected instead to find this out. Information about the current vehicle condition or any history of accidents will also not be included on the window sticker but can be found on Carfax or Autocheck.
When does this Free Fiat Window Sticker or VIN decoder not work?
There are a few circumstances that may cause issues using a VIN decoder or Window sticker tool.
Reasons the VIN decoder will not work:
The vehicle model is older than 2013
VIN is not 17 digits long (applicable for pre-1981 vehicles)
